You will attend live classes. Like in a traditional classroom, the IELTS instructor will be teaching a live class. You can ask questions, make comments, and interact with the other course mates during a virtual class.
No. You can attend the live class only when the class is live.
The instructor will check your homework, present the new lesson, and you will complete listening, reading, writing, and speaking tasks.
Fees must be paid before we offer you a place in the course.
Yes. You are eligible to receive a full refund if you withdraw from the course before drop period has ended (i.e. Day 1 of the Course).
We strongly advise all our students to attend all the live classes. In case you miss a class, you will receive a video recording of the class.
You may withdraw from a course after the add/drop period has ended with no grade penalty, however, you will not be eligible for a tuition refund and must still pay any outstanding balances owed to the college.
The IELTS School's web conferencing software is Zoom. Zoom can be used on laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, and even desk phones, giving students many ways to access the class session.
No, there is no need to install any extra software to join a live Zoom classroom You can do it all through a web browser.
You will receive a link and password by email.
Yes. Each class goes live at a particular time/day.
The platform we use for online courses works fine on both Macs and PCs. What's more important is to always use the most recent version of your browser. The most up-to-date versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all work with our platform.
None. No textbooks are required for your course. All content will be provided to you online through the virtual learning environment.
Google Chrome is the only browser that will allow you to join the computer audio for Zoom classrooms. You may still be able to use your phone to dial into the meeting depending on the settings selected by the host.
